"There's a number of positives to take from that Geelong win, including the rhythm of our offence in the first half, our defensive pressure and our ability to stick together and grind out the result at the end of the game," Flame guard Celeste Taylor said.

"I'm proud of our resiliency and the growth we're had as a group, through the first eight games."

Taylor's team will now take on the Fire, who are also 4-4, for the first time in WNBL25.

"The keys on Wednesday are staying together as a group, even when things don't go our way throughout the game," Flame #226 said.

"If we stick to our game plan, that Guy has put in place, and play Flames basketball, the result should take care of itself."
