"The training group are really competitive and hungry to put into place our principles and intentions that Guy [Molloy] has defined for us, to be the best team we can be, which is really exciting.
"I'm looking forward to sharing the journey that will be WNBL25 with the closeness of my friends and family [in Sydney].
"I've definitely missed this over the past four years playing elsewhere, so to experience the highs and lows of the upcoming season with them will be something very special."
Further to that, Calleia has expressed how much the club has positively changed since her last time in the harbour city.
"It's great that the Flames family has expanded into the Hoops Capital," she said.
"The growth couldn't be possible without the hard work of the former and current staff and members who have supported us and who continue to do so."
On the court, Calleia and coach Molloy have identified areas she wants to improve on during the pre-season, so she can contribute to the Flames' success during the 2024-25 season.
"Personally, I've discussed my want to get better defensively, and the coaching staff have supported this with achievable actions.
