Emma Clarke and her Sydney Flames will be looking to build on their convincing defeat of Geelong this Saturday at Quaycentre.

That victory, by 35 points, was their biggest of WNBL25 and moved the Hoops Capital side to 2-4 on the campaign.

"The most pleasing thing about Saturday's win was two seeing the work we've actually been putting into training turn into fruition on the court," said Flame #210 Clarke, in an interview with The Big Sports Breakfast.

"We knew we were on the right track after a couple of close defeats but actually getting over the line and winning was massive for our group.

"We've all taken plenty from the win and feel like it's all coming together really well, so hopefully we can string a few victories together now."

The harbour city side will look to make that a reality when they host second-placed Perth at Quaycentre from 7.15pm AEDT.

"We're fortunate that we played the Lynx only a few weeks ago, so our scout is quite fresh in our mind," said Clarke, who started her WNBL career with the Lynx.

"If we stick to our game plan, execute well and carry the momentum from last week, I have full confidence we can defeat Perth.
