Guy Molloy's side head into the round five clash on the back of a tough road trip to Adelaide and Perth.

And despite coming away with two defeats, Molloy admits there were positives to take from the road trip.

"During that first half against Perth, we showed the pillars and foundations we're trying to play with her in Sydney," Mollo said.

"While there are still some aspects that need a little bit of improvement, such as looking after the ball, playing for the full 40 minutes and actually seeing the ball go through the hole, I'm confident we're heading in the right direction.

"That's been one of my key messages this week, not everything goes to plan on the court, so we've got to be able to flush out the bad plays quickly, move on and not let it affect our game - it's such a mental game out there on the court."

The Hoops Capital side will be looking to build on these when they take on Geelong United for the first-ever time at Quaycentre on Saturday - tipping off at 4.45pm.

"Full credit to the girls, they come to training this week locked in and had a really productive week on the court," said Molloy, who is in his second year with the Flames.

"In terms of Geelong, they are a team that likes to play fast but also scrappy and hard, so we need to come prepared to match that intensity with them on Saturday - which shouldn't be an issue with us playing back in front of our great fans."
