The Sydney Flames will look to end a two-game skid this week when they travel to both Adelaide and Perth for Indigenous Round fixtures.

Head coach Guy Molloy is confident his team have learnt plenty from their two last-up defeats and is ready to return to the winner's circle in round four.

"Especially after that last game against Bendigo, who I believe are the benchmark in this competition right now, there has been plenty of learnings for your group," Molloy said.

"The response of the group has been really good and all the errors we've made are definitely correctable, which we will look to prove this week against both Adelaide and Perth."

The first stop on the trip is Adelaide Arena on Wednesday night to face the winless Lightning.

"We faced a desperate Flyers team a few weeks ago, who hadn't won a game, and now we have the same proposition against Adelaide on Wednesday night," said Molloy, who is in his second season with the Hoops Capital club.

"They're a talented team, headlined by a few Olympians, that came on towards the back end of last season, so I expect them to be ready to play and dangerous come Wednesday night.

"The keys for us will be executing our plan of defence and looking after the ball, two aspects which have let us down a bit lately.

"Especially in terms of the latter, as we're such a new team, it's important we don't go off script and trust the system we've put in place.

"We're still learning one another tendencies, which along with poor reads and lack of composure, have been the reason behind our huge turnover counts."

Looking at the trip as a whole, Molloy says it's an opportunity for his team to grow and build on their pillars for the season.

"Championships aren't won in November and we know that, so this is a great opportunity for us to continue to grow as a group," he said.

"Our team pillars are solid and these two games give us a chance to strengthen them further.

"All of us are excited for the opportunity in front of us."

Wednesday's game with Adelaide tips off at 7pm AEDT on ESPN, while Saturday's clash with Perth starts at 10.30pm AEDT on 9Now.

The Flames' next home game in on Saturday, November 30 at Quaycentre against Geelong for the first time - tipping off at 4.45pm.
