The new Sydney Flames brand campaign, “See it, be it, pass it on” launched today and has a purpose to inspire the next generation of Sydney girls.  

We want to show young girls worldwide what’s possible when you chase the game with fire.

The Flames don’t just play basketball, they lead the way for every girl who knows the game is hers to play, hers to win, hers to lead.

In the campaign video, authentic, playful scenes of Mikhaela Cann’s daughters on the local basketball court transition to the professional players on media day bridging the gap between dreams and reality of the young girls.

The campaign features the new “Flames Beat” which aims to evoke a sense of community, motivation and strength among the team and fans. We want to hear this beat as we continue to cheer on our girls on this season! It will become a staple of each home game.

Flame #3, Mikhaela Cann expressed how much this campaign means to her;

“I think including young and upcoming kids in the campaign is massive and thinking that’s where we were 10-20 years ago when we started our journey is inspiring.”

“They are my kids in the campaign video and part of me continuing to play basketball and playing around kids is to be a role model and be someone for them to look up to both on and off the court, so this campaign is really special to me.”
